At
least three persons were burnt to death in a building in a late Friday
night attack on Tse-Chia village, near Kasar in Zaki Biam, Ukum local
government area of Benue State.
The gruesome murder is suspected to be a reprisal attack by victims of last Monday’s massacre in Biam maintain town in a raging community dispute in Benue State Nigeria, north-central Nigeria.
According to an eyewitness who spoke with Sunday Vanguard, several houses in the community were also razed in what has been a nightly occurrence.
The eye witness said;
“The attackers of Tse-Chia were led by some youths in Zaki Biam main town who identified and recognized all the masterminds of the Monday attack”,
“They know all those who participated in that massacre, so every night since after that unfortunate incident, youths from Biam visit their villages and houses to pay them back in their own coin and, where they are not found at home, their houses are razed, that is what is going on at the moment.
